Trump Administration Plan to tackle Coronavirus

A Trump administration official said today that US President Donald Trump is planning to meet Treasury Secretary Stephen Mnuchin and other members of his economic team to discuss possible action to address concerns about the impact of the Corona virus outbreak on the US economy.

The official said paid sick leave is among the political steps being considered while White House chief economic adviser Larry Kudlow and others propose specific tax loans or direct subsidies to severely affected areas.

Florida health officials have said that all returning citizens from China, Iran, South Korea, and Italy should isolate them for 14 days, and the number of confirmed cases in the United States has reached 566, including 22 deaths.
