The official said paid sick leave is among the political steps being considered while White House chief economic adviser Larry Kudlow and others propose specific tax loans or direct subsidies to severely affected areas.

Florida health officials have said that all returning citizens from China, Iran, South Korea, and Italy should isolate them for 14 days, and the number of confirmed cases in the United States has reached 566, including 22 deaths.
